Sunday Funday!

This is how I feel about going back to class tomorrow.

Not really looking forward to finals...

Well, I fell asleep last night around 1, woke up later and didn't want to look at the clock for fear of seeing only 5 minutes of sleep left. Finally I decided to be a man and look. To my surprise it was only...

4 O'Clock!!!!!

Words cannot adequately describe how relieved I was to know I still had 4 hours of sleep ahead of me. It was honestly a beautiful thing.  So I enjoyed every snoozing second of it.

Once I got up, I went to church. I bore my testimony today on the Book of Mormon. I always used to make fun of people who talk about getting up to bear their testimony because the spirit wouldn't stop bothering them about it...but that happened today so I guess I'd better stop doing that...

I figured out my piano conundrum (as in, the piano music I have to play in choir next week is impossible) by recruiting someone to help play one hand while I play the other. It helped immensely!! I love playing the piano, it's very soothing and relaxing, helps me get my mind of things that trouble me.  I used to always go sit at the piano and just play, let my mind wander and think, and just soak in the moment.  It's a "mental retreat" of sorts I guess.

I even managed to fix the piano in our building! The foot pedal wasn't working so I took the piano apart and figured out what was wrong, all while thinking:

I visited my FHE sisters tonight. I love those girls; they're so nice and funny.  They're all so genuine, I just love being around them.  I've made it a bit of a tradition to visit them Sunday nights; which explains why I sat in my dorm tonight wondering why I felt like I needed to be somewhere.  Then I remembered I'm usually in their dorm visiting them at that point in the evening! So, I went over there and had a nice chat with them, which is always really nice.

From Left to Right: Rebecca Withers, Suzanne Hunsaker, Shannon Wallace,
Hannah Trimble, Katelyn Starks, and Cassie Corriveau
So, that's pretty much it from me today. Weekends are always nice, but they all sadly come to an end. Bring it on Finals...
